Josiah liming in duds

Here is Josiah smiling smiling as he sits propped up happily dressed in shoes, underwears, a dress shirt with working buttons, a cravat fashioned from my Grandpa Saxby's cravat and a beautiful overcoat in black pinstripe. All these amazing clothes were sewn by by tante Jean! Merci Jean xoxoxooxxooxooxox Also you can see a few pics of his installation at the Encampment, Fort York site in Toronto. There are two lengths of bunting and a 6 foot wall hanging with a few details about mister Josiah Henson as well as Lieutenant John Graves Simcoe who in 1793, almost 100 years before the U.S.A, was responsible for the legislation outlawing future slavery in Canada and outlining equal civil rights for future black Canadians. Shocking/Amazing/Sad this wasn't taught to us in school?!
